Data handled by the app
Machine and fabric profiles, thread and needle descriptions, stitch settings, test results, issue tags, maintenance and optional service-cost records, notes, photos, units, and app settings are stored on the device. Version 1 has no ads, developer analytics, account system, location collection, or cross-app tracking. DUSTLINE does not receive these records automatically.
JSON backup and validated restore are free. CSV is an optional Premium export. A file leaves the app only when the user chooses a destination.
02 / DEVICE ACCESS
Photos and files
The Android photo picker opens only when the user attaches an existing top, underside, or maintenance image. Selected images are copied to app-local storage. File and share pickers open only after a user-requested backup, restore, or export. Version 1 does not request camera, location, microphone, contacts, notifications, or broad storage access.
03 / GOOGLE PLAY
Optional lifetime purchase
Google Play processes the optional lifetime Premium purchase and restore and may process purchase, device, and account information under its policies. SeamSet receives the store-formatted price and entitlement state needed for the purchase flow. DUSTLINE does not receive full payment-card details.
04 / RETENTION
Retention, deletion, and product boundary
Records remain until the user archives or deletes them, clears app storage, or uninstalls the app. Exported files must be deleted separately at their chosen destination.
SeamSet records user observations. It does not diagnose or repair a machine or guarantee a correct needle, thread, tension, stitch, or maintenance action. Follow the applicable manuals and consult a qualified technician when needed.
The app is a general hobby/workshop utility and is not directed to children under 13.
