Records stored on the device
Horse profiles, hoof-visit notes, per-hoof observations, cost entries, reminder dates, and photos are stored locally. Version 1 has no account, ads, developer analytics, advertising identifiers, location or contacts collection, cloud sync, or developer app-data server. DUSTLINE does not automatically receive user-entered records.
JSON export and import are available without Premium. A backup leaves the device only after an explicit export or share; the selected destination governs its copy.
02 / DEVICE ACCESS
Photos and notifications
Camera or photo access is used only after the user chooses to attach a hoof photo. Notification permission is requested only after the user enables a local reminder. Core records remain usable if either permission is denied.
03 / GOOGLE PLAY
Optional lifetime purchase
Google Play processes purchases and restores and may process purchase, device, and account information under Google's policies. HoofHandoff receives product and entitlement state needed to show the store-formatted price and unlock Premium. DUSTLINE does not receive payment-card details.
04 / SCOPE & RETENTION
Recordkeeping, not health advice
HoofHandoff records user-entered information. It does not diagnose, assign health scores, or recommend treatment. It is not a substitute for a veterinarian or qualified hoof-care professional.
Local records remain until edited or deleted, app storage is cleared, or the app is uninstalled. Exported copies must be managed separately. The app is not directed to children under 13.
