DCC Bench Log / Privacy
DCC Bench Log is a local decoder, service, and test-run notebook for model railroading. It requires no DUSTLINE account and uses no developer-controlled app data server.
01 / LOCAL DATA
Locomotive or car labels, user-entered decoder and CV notes, service records, and test-run fault notes remain locally on the device. Version 1 has no account, ads, developer analytics, advertising identifiers, location or contacts collection, live-train telemetry, valuation collection, cloud sync, or developer app-data server. DUSTLINE does not automatically receive user records.
02 / EXPORT & IMPORT
JSON export and import remain available without Premium. A file leaves the device only when the user explicitly exports or shares it. The selected destination then governs its copy. Import accesses only the file chosen by the user.
03 / GOOGLE PLAY
Google Play processes purchases and restores and may process purchase, device, and account information under Google's policies. DCC Bench Log receives product and entitlement state needed to show the store-formatted price and unlock Premium. DUSTLINE does not receive payment-card details.
04 / RETENTION
Local records remain until edited or deleted, app data is cleared, or the app is uninstalled. Exported copies remain where the user placed them and must be deleted there separately. DCC Bench Log is a general hobby utility and is not directed to children under 13.
